Preparatory activities: the activities involved 17 participants.

Short description: these activities consisted of online meetings together with partner organisations to prepare for the event.

Event 1

Participation: The event involved  231  citizens, 

Location / Dates: The event took place online (Vilnius, Lithuania), from 25/02/2022  to  27/02/2022
Short description:  The aim of the event was on education and digital skills, as it is increasingly clear that traditional education systems are failing to keep up with the rapid pace of technological change and the needs of the job market. To address this, the event hosted an online hackathon to help participants by creating a platform to brainstorm and inviting professionals to help in order to brainstorm ideas and create demo solutions on how these pressing issues may be solved.

Event 2
Participation:
The event involved 177 citizens, 

Location / Dates: The event took place online (Riga, Latvia), from  25/03/2022  to  27/03/2022
Short description:  The aim of the event was to focus on European democratic values and women rights in conflict times. Gender equality is also a key concern, particularly in conflict zones where women are often disproportionately affected (particularly Ukraine). The organisation hosted an online hackathon and discussions to raise awareness about the importance of democracy and to provide a platform for voices that are working to defend it. The organisation promoted peace and security for women and to raise awareness about the importance of gender equality in all aspects of society.

Event 3
Participation:
The event involved  71  citizens

Location / Dates: The event took place in Erasmus Students Campus (Rotterdam, Netherlands), from  31/03/2022  to  02/04/2022
Short description:  The aim of the event was focused on data protection for EU citizens, as the collection and use of personal data has become a critical issue in today’s digital age. The partner organisation hosted workshops and seminars to educate citizens about their rights and to help them take steps to protect their personal information.

Event 4
Participation:
The event involved  69  citizens

Location / Dates: The event took place in Lift99 hub (Tallinn, Estonia), from   28/09/2022  to  30/09/2022
Short description:  The aim of the event was focused on the economic downturn and its impact on citizens and local communities. In the event it was explored how web3 technologies could change and help in uncertain times when the economic situation is unstable and how to improve citizens’ digital skills in order to be relevant in the labour market.
